"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

11 month old...

Today marks 11 months...not only that but its also St. Patricks Day, and you are my lucky charm for sure!!
how is this happening? you hear all the time how "they grow so fast" and never in all the kids has someone grown so fast...I want you to slow down, I want
to keep you my baby forever and ever...BUT...I know that cant happen. You just remember that NO MATTER how big or how old you are, you will ALWAYS be my
sweet baby!

You are sooo much fun karbon, we sit and laugh with you for hours. You are such a fun, good, happy baby.
I do miss you tiny little body all curled up in my arms so much but I love seeing you grow.

right now during the past month you have really gotten a personality going, you know what you want and you get it one way or another.
some things you do are:

-crawl everywhere and when you really want something you crawl as fast as you can to get it.
-you love to explore, everything in your path or line of sight you have to check it out.
-you stand with holding on to things, you havent dared to let you and take any steps yet...im not rushing you one bit!
-you are still mini size!!! a lady at the store today asked how old you where and she was shocked and said you dont look
that old and you are so tiny!
-you are about 20 pounds
-you still where 6-9 month clothes
-size 3 diapers
-you really started talking (babbling) you go on and on..sometime really loud!!
-you LOVE peas and green beans
-you just shared some wendys french frys and chocolate frosty with me the other day for the first time and I would say you loved it.
-you still go to bed really well and sleep really well....lately you have wanted me to just hold you and you snuggle up on my shoulder until you
fall asleep...I have LOVED snuggling with you and take every chance I get to soak in those little moments with you!
-you say "DADA" aaaalllll the time...seriously its just mean that you dont say mommy...the other day you were eating in you high chair and
dad and I were in the kitchen and you said "mom" I looked at dad and said did you hear that he said mom and dad said Ya he did...so I know
you can say it!

There are so many things I love about you, Im excited to see you grow and talk...but my heart does ache for these times when you are so tiny
and life is just perfect to you and you fit right in my arms..its already getting harder to hold you.
Im so happy you came to our lives karbon, never think for one second that I would have it any other way..you are just perfect and I'm so proud
to get the chance to be you mommy!

Happy 11 months old my sweet heart boy!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
