"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

Lego Fun...

It seems to be really hard for me to get out of my "GIRL" zone and do fun boys things...I have no idea how or what to build with legos or blocks.
When we went down to stg for the color me rad race we stayed at my moms house (grandma waymans) kaylin wanted to play with the lego set she has, as I was walking back and forth in and out of the kitchen he was sitting at her table working on something with the legos. I wanted some time with him and thought to my self I havent really played legos with with for a long long while...so I sat down and we both just started putting piece by piece together until we came up with a SUPER SWEET scorpion car thing...he thought it was the coolest and it made me feel so good to have just sat down and had a good little time with my boy. I dont get to have that every often but I am going to set aside more time with each of them!!!

*in the top little picture the scorpion's stinger is getting kaylins face hahahaha!!!!

Color Me Rad 2014...

We have been waiting all year again for this fun family race to come around...the boys were so excited again this year and so was I!
I wanted us to all go as a family so we brought Khailo with us this time...he had a "love/hate" relationship with it. He hated being in the jogger unless we were actually running otherwise he would scream...but once we finished the race (which took us 36 min because i didnt do my running before so i was a little slower then normal...hehe sorry honey i know i slowed you down but thanks for always stopping and waiting for my slow butt anyways)...he was LOVING all the color powder and was having a ball playing in it!
Kaylin hated the color, like always, he loved throwing it himself but hated people throwing it at him...same with kiptin....strange that on a day they can get all messy they dont want to...but they had a blast at the after race party with all the color so thats all the matters.
This time they had "blaster" full of color and they boys loved spraying those.
After the race at the little gathering party all the people made a tunnel and some little girl sprayed some color down it and it made a cloud of color the boys and nick loved that, i stayed out of that with khailo.

After the color party we headed to the splash park to wash off before getting some lunch and heading home!!
I love that we do this as a family...SO MANY FUN MEMORIES!!

Kaylin's 2nd grade program...

The end of the year is right around the corner now...like this week :)
The 2nd grade put on a really really cute little program called "bugz" this year and kaylin was front and center, which made it hard to see him.
his little dance was adorable and he did a great job on his part! I couldnt get many pictures cause i mostly videoed it but here is what i got!

Mom's & Muffin's...

Kaylin's school hosted "Mom's & Muffin's" day where he got to bring his mommy to school for breakfast with him!
This is the 2nd year we were able to do this. When we arrived at the school the line was WAY WAY LONG...so we opted to go into the lunch room and eat school breakfast first and wait until the line winded down. Then we headed in for a little muffin together. Kiptin came along this year and thought it was the coolest thing that he was eating with kaylin in his school lunch room and that he got his own breakfast!!

Kiptins treat...

Kiptin had such a great first soccer season! you played hard and scored so many goals, this was one of your first couple of games and you scored 3 goals this night and wanted to eat pancakes after you game...kaylin also played this night and scored a few on his team too so we let you guys pick where you wanted to go for dinner and IHOP it was!!!!

Here is the team picture of you team this season:

Happy Easter...

Easter 2014!

This Easter seemed different in a special way this year. I decided I wanted to do Easter a little different each year from now on. I want us to have most of the "FUN" Easter part the day before and save Easter Sunday for the "SPECIAL" part in remembering what our Savoir did for us and make that day more about him as best as I can.

BECAUSE OF HIM...we can be forgiven for our wrong doing and short comings and down falls, because of him we never loose the people who are so special to us, because of him we have each other FOREVER.

It is important for me to know Iam teaching my children what God has entrusted me to teach them here on earth. Me knowing about the gospel and having knowledge about his great plan makes it my {our} responsibility to instill that to our children. I want my children to know how much I love my Savoir and greatful I am to him for the plan of salvation and eternal families. He painfully died for each of us on that cross. I have to remember to show him my gratitude so he did not suffer for no reason, if it was not for his great sacrifice we would not have this chance to be here and have our families forever.
I LOVE MY HEAVENLY FATHER, I found that great love him has for me after I had my own children, knowing the love I have for them and how intense it is made me know how much my heavenly father loves me and wants me to do the best so I can return to him as I want to return with my kids too...FOREVER.

We had fun like always, we woke the kids up and they ran outside where the easter bunny left them some awesome goodies...they got a fitness swing set and lots of candies, some fun summer toys, water balloons, splip'n slide and khai got a bubble mower and little water toys and a soccer ball!

We had fun my side of the family at a little BBQ in stg at the park right by my Nana's grave, stopping by to see her was special like it always is, its hard too but I know she is so happy and pain free that's what keeps me going on with out her. the boys caught frogs and tad pols in a little river.

We met up with Papa and Grandma haslem at aunt shaliese's house for some more fun and Easter egg hunting!

14 Months old...

Happy 14 Months Khai man!

You are a busy busy boy, always on the move now that you have mastered walking right after your birthday, you are finally trying to master running...boy are we in for it!!

You never stop you love that you can get up and run around with your brothers, you get mad when they run off too fast!
Right now you are sitting by me eating your FAVORITE food...Scrambled eggs!! you eat at least 3 but can easily put down 4 or 5 eggs on your own!

You are such an amazing sleeper still. 12-14 hours each night without a peep. I do love you for that!

We had our first scare with you the other day at kaylin's soccer game. you were running round by us and when the game ended we were packing up all the stuff in the bag and I looked up and couldnt find you anywhere, i yelled out "where is khai" and dad freaked out too, it was about 10-15 seconds of pure terror thinking you got into the road or someone got you...then we saw you going into the bathroom...my heart has only felt like that a few times from you brothers...but a good lesson to always remind us that it only takes a split second to loose the most important things in your life.

We love you to pieces and are so proud of you and how much you have learned and grown in these short (at times long) 14 little months!!!

Mothers day

I can't believe I am a mother to 3 boys! I have 3 amazing boys that call me mommy.
I'm so proud and honored to be your mom, I'm so blessed beyond words to have each of you, each day, each moment.

Today we woke up to a very strange out of place snow storm...in may. This year, I was a little down but had so much love in my heart as I looked at each of you. We headed off to church and listened to some sweet talks but Khailo got so fussy that I had to take him home, after I got him calmed down and asleep I sat in the other room and thought for a while...i decided not to feel down anymore...i wanted to feel happy because I'm lucky to have this day with u boys and u are the most special 3 little things to me...i decided to get your room all cleaned up for you and make u some warm yummy chocolate cookies that you could have when you walked in the door.
I heard the door fly open and the first word were...where is mom, mm mm I smell cookies...then kippy says....kaylin they are cookies!!
It was exactly what I wanted to hear! Made my heart melt and beat with happiness.
Kaylin made me a beautiful picture of a rose and a question book and both kiptin and kaylin made me coupon books for me to use!
Because of you my life is happy,  each day I get to hear your sweet little voices, your laughs and giggles. My life forever changed each time I welcomed each of you into this world and held you for the first time...thank you for choosing me to be your mommy! I love you to b the moon and back boys!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
