"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

Our Early Halloween..........

Nick had to leave today for a week to Colorado for work so we had out little Halloween last night, we carved our pumpkins, and dressed kaylin up so his daddy could see what he will look like tomorrow. And yes nick carved his pumpkin and kaylins with his dremel and i did mine the real old fashion way, less messy, his pieces went flying everywhere with that high powered carving tool. Kaylin got his "choo choo" pumpkin with his name on it and mine was a magic hat, and nicks a spidy as kaylin calls it!

At the Pumpkin Patch.........

Last night we took kaylin to the pumpkin patch, which i would have to say the actual patch of pumpkins was way crappy, they were all dead and smashed, they had already picked pumpkins for us to choose from and those weren't that great either, but kaylin had fun and it was worth going with him and having fun together. Kaylin played on the corn slide, did the cow pie toss, talked to and petted all the animals, and his favorite thing of course was riding the train! the funny thing was he really wanted to just play in the sand pile with the dump truck and the silly kid has one at home already! Kaylin picked his own little pumpkin which he had to carry all by him self, we ate cow tales and Carmel apples yum yum!!

My Very Odd Hubby.......

I had my sewing machine out the other day cause i was making some curtains, and nick got home and decided to try his hand at sewing....i wont say what exactly he made but if you look hard you could figure it out "think as a guy for a minute". it was really funny and i was rolling most of the time cause he could figure it out, it was knotting all up and the thread kept breaking and i made him thread it all by himself which i must say he did. He told me as i was laughing at him "you know if i were to die tomorrow you would treasure these cause it would be the last thing i made for you" so now i HAVE to keep them, he did go all out though i would say! they are pretty cute but just a little small!!!!

LOVE YOU HONEY

BYE BYE MY LOVE.....

The week before nick asked me to marry him we went and bought us a suv together, the yellow xtera. it was our first purchase together, the first thing we had, so yes im very atached to it and not to mention i just love the freakin thing, and kaylin loved it cause he could see out the windows sides and front cause the back seat sat higher then the fronts. well we sold it and i am so sad that i had to say good bye. but we have two other trucks and we needed to sell something so thats the one that went...."im so sorry my yellow buggy, for give me".....Well nick keeps telling me to that it's one step closer to the car we want now so it helps. its just a car right....but still....

Kaylins New BIG BOY BIKE!

I know a lot of people are thinking "He's only 2" so are we, but he loves his daddys fourwheeler and he kinda out grew his little power wheel one so we opted to get him a new one that would last for a few years. We were going to get him a bigger power wheel one but they were the same price as the real one and they have plastic tiers and cant go off road so he just got a real one instead and he loves it! He already got his first "road rash" from crashing but he is so tuff he got right back on the next day!

Kaylins First Dog Attack......

Last night (Friday 17th) we were at nicks parents house hanging out (like we do almost every night cause our house is boring) and they have this really stupid dog which we hate (now even more with out any slight likeness to the thing) , he is little and really dumb and we don't know why they have him, anyways kaylin was playing with him and he freaking bit kaylins face like 5 times and left so many puncher holes in his face, seriously i really wanna go over and poison the dog now, his face was bleeding so bad and i thought for sure we were going to have to go and get stitches in a few spots that were really deep. i grabbed kaylin and started washing his face and the blood kept coming out of every hole and out of his mouth, nick came over and was helping me and then i felt really week, i got really faint and dizzy (which has never happened to me before around blood, but since it was my sons blood and his face look horrible, i had to sit down and put my head between my legs) so nick took over and was trying to get the bleeding to stop. the dog missed kaylins eye socket by about a fourth of an inch if that so that was lucky (good thing we went to the temple that day so it wasn't any worse). i just held kaylin all night cause i felt so horrible that that happened to him and i felt like i didn't protect him, i was so scared all night that it was hurting him, so ya i didn't sleep really at all. kaylin looks a little worse today cause of the swelling and bruising, but he is so big and tough, we told him we would take him and get him a Thomas the train movie today for being so tough! so here are a few pictures of him last night and one this morning.

Saturday Morning (bottom)

(BOTTOM) here are some new pictures of kaylin from today (Monday 20th)
he is healing really fast, much faster then we all thought, and the bruising never got to bad either, not is just the ugly yellow, and the scabs are looking really good too!

The one freakin time....

So of course kaylin wants to let me take pictures of him and be seriously so perfect, yet he had a dirty face, he really sat there and didnt move a muscle and did every thing i told him to do just right...did i really think he was going to do it "no" so did i bother to wash his face "no" but they are still cute pics...i washed his face after he let me take a few pictures of him which are my favorite but i like the other ones as well!! he's just cute dirty or clean!

this is his bath robe from when he was a new born, ya we just made it fit, it was tight but he wanted it on cause his ruff ruff had one on!

looks can be deceiving, yea he really isnt naked it just looks that way!
Kaylin is on this big thing about trains lately so he found his train from when he was a baby and now he wont let go of it, its the first thing he asks for when he wakes up in the mornings!

Sweet Poem.....

Thank you to my friend kylie, she sent me this poem after we had our miscarrige and it is so beautiful, i know there are some of you i know out there that went through the same thing and maybe this will help you or some one you know who has lost a baby before as well.

"As a butterfly graces our lives with one moments fragile beauty, so too has your baby's presence blessed you, and those that suround you with their short life, and unique spirit. May you find peace, and joy with each butterfly that passes, knowing that your baby lives on in the hearts of all they touched."

Thank you so much kylie!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
