"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

Merry Christmas 2015

It's Christmas!!!

Merry 2015 Christmas family!
Another year has come and gone...so fast might i add.
This year was a little strange...it didnt feel like christmas as much as i would have liked it too but we made the best of it and we did have a good one anyways.

I asked the kids what they wanted for christmas this year and khailo was the only one who could tell me things he wanted. that really made me realize how spoiled
the boys are...who cant think of much they want for chirstmas....is that a good thing or not?
Our boys are AWESOME boys...they are kind hearted and think of others but they do get a lot of "things" through out the year and maybe they get too much.

I really wanted them to have gifts this year that wouldnt just get broke and thrown away...im so glad santa felt the same and brought them really awesome gifts...not a lot but
the perfect amount of use full gifts.

This year they got...BB guns, nice paintball guns, outdoor tools, beyblades, clothes, a few fun gifts each and khailo of course got his big tractor that he LOVES...it was the only
thing he wanted to open on christmas...once that was opened he didnt really care to open anything else. My camera was not working this year so we didnt get a lot of pics sadly BUT
we have the memories.

I found the boys all matching Pjs for christmas eve....it was hard to find 4 different sizes in the same pjs...but I found the perfect ones...Camo snow boarder ones!

we told the boys they couldnt wake us up til 7 am...they came in and said "mom did you say we could wake you up at 7...i said yes...and kaylin said OH good ..its 7:03" hahaha
funny boys!

Before we went out to open presents we read in the scriptures together about the real meaning of christmas and why we even have it in the first place...Chirst...his birth and how
symbolic the things for christmas. it was great...something we will be doing each christmas morning before presents.

Karbon was so adorable for his FIRST CHRISTMAS...Im a little sad that we wont be having another "babies first christmas" at our house with our own little ones, but cant
wait to see them grow into handsome men!

Nick and I had got each other one little present this year, in hopes next year will be better!
Jim and Jill surprised nick and I with a great christmas present...work will be picking up this year...finally things have gotten into place, all Nick and Jims hard work
is paying off....they saw how much nick needed to get new garments (and seriously he did), he never liked to spend money on them and has only bought a few since we got married
he likes them much better when they are extra "holy" haha. So they gave us some money for new ones and they also gave us a very sweet letter that said how proud of us they were
and how without our faith in them they wouldnt be where they are now...they gave us a check for $250000...SERIOUSLY...wow! Its for when the first profits come in and they wanted
us to have it. Our life will finally be were we want it to be...we will be able to help others and be able to get out of debt and have our house in our name, and us and our kids
will be able to relax more and not be so stressed out. I cant wait for the day we have been having faith in and going through so many trials to get to the is point. Im so grateful
for all those trials and hard times...it has kept us grounded and has helped us to rely on the Lord...and now we will be able to give back as well. WOW can it actually be happening now?!

We are grateful to our father in heaven for all that we have and all that we have gone through to get to this point. he has always watched over us and always been there in our
time of need...he has answered prayers for us, not always in the way we think they should be or we would like them to be but he hears them and answers them..he knows best!

Christmas is the one month you can feel the Spirit all day every day...people have a much softer more giving heard and it is the "most wonderful time of the year" its also the time i wish wouldnt end so fast. I hope this year my family can really focus on helping other all year long, having the giving spirit all year round!

Merry Chirstmas husband and boys...I love you with all my heart!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
