"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

A Christmas to remember

Merry Christmas 2018!

This has been our craziest Christmas break ever.  We got hit with croup, major chest colds and the flu...for the last two weeks it's been non stop sick for us over here ending with kaylin on Christmas day...and then on top of that we had Landon and his family stay with us for a week....the day they left parker and steph came into town to stay through Christmas (they leave in two days)
It's been go go go go for a solid week.

It was so busy on Christmas eve doing a party lunch at my moms and then a dinner at Nick's parents...we didnt even have time to make santa cookies this year..I sorta felt guilty but we literally had no time..so we stopped at kneaders bakery and grabbed some cute cookies...plus santa didnt complain so they must have been so delicious!!!

They boys got so spoiled of course
The boys got stuff like .22 guns and hoverboard, games, mini projector, electric scooter, spider man bike, giant dinosaurs, Amazon echo dots for each....santa didnt disappoint this year!
They came screaming in our room at 6:59 am flipped on our lights qnd scared nick and I half to death...all while yelling "wake up its christmas" and little karby had the cutest little voice saying "santa came"!! They all had big smiles on their faces, which melted my mommy heart!

We have made it a point to stay home on Christmas day and just enjoy the day while the kids play...if grandparents want to come by they can but we decided it was our Christmas and we weren't going to try to load up kids and hit houses all day.

Our house is a mess and our boys are happy...life is good and also going by WAY to quickly, this mommy misses the boys being so little. {Sad face}

Merry Christmas to all my sweet boys, may you always remember why we celebrate Christmas, our saviors birth..
For the gift he has given us to be a family FOREVER...no greater gift can one give.  Keep that in your hearts always and forever.

Love mom, xoxoxo

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
