"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

Merry Christmas 2014!!

3 excited boys made for a fun FAST present opening....i believe it took 12 minutes to blow through all the presents from santa!
We did so many fun things this Christmas season. We really tried to center our Christmas more around Christ this year, we made a service chain and each night we read the scripture that is written on it.  We have done all our family home evenings this month about Christ and his birth. The boys have had such a good time looking at all the lights, expecially khai he has LOVED seeing the houses  all lite up...he calls the lights "cools"!!
We made our Christmas cookies for santa. Our elf "rocket" has been surprising us each morning with his new adventure he had that night...i love the magic of Christmas and all the believing our kids get to experience!!

One activity we did this year was so touching to me...their is a little girl who was very sick up north and this may have been her last christmas, all she wanted was christmas cards from all her "friends" to cover all the walls in her house. We made it one of our family nights and went and bought her some christmas cards and we colored pictures in them and mailed them off to her. (we dont know her, just saw it on the news and facebook). it was so awesome to see my boys draw her things she would love!

I love our little family we have and im so thankful for Christ and the atonement and that I am able to have my family forever and not just for this life. I have made it a goal this year to bring Christ into our home and everyday life more!

The boys were nothing but spoiled of course!
Kaylin got:
his gas motorcycle from daddy and mommy a suzuki 70
the new skylanders game
pokemon cards and case
footie pj's
guns
bike ramp
motorcycle ridding gear
new coat

Kiptin got:
Motorcycle ridding gear
dart guns
pj's
new coat
lots of monster trucks
a new motorcycle bike
board games
xbox games (motorcycle ones of course)

Khailo got:
his long awaited vacuum, once he saw that he pretty much didnt care about anything else!
rc truck
monster trucks

Grandma and Grandpas spoiled them too with lots and lots of fun toys.

We really tried to focus more on christ this christmas and doing our family nights and making sure the boys understand that christmas didnt start with presents and what the most importing thing is about Christmas...Christ!

I loved being home this year and waking up to our cute boys so excited to open their gifts and see the fun things they got...I love watching their cute excited faces as they open each one and jump up and down and yell so haply!

HAPPY 5 BIRTHDAY KIPPY...

Your 5...five...f.i.v.e. WOW this is so crazy...your officially not my "baby" anymore (even though you will ALWAYS be my baby), now you are school age and that makes me so sad and so happy at the same time!
Iam so happy for your growth and I love seeing you change each year...I'm so proud of you and the cute, sweet boy you are. You make our lives so happy and full of laughter, your "stories" are so much fun to hear, the things you come up with are so great!
You have learned so much the past year and have really grown into your independence and you act like your 10 or so, yet you are still so little...You amaze Dad and I everyday with how much you can do as a 4/5 year old, I bet 80% of kids your age cant do half of what you do each day...your skill level for 4/5 is outstanding! Dad always comes to me and says he cant believe the things you can do at such and early age. You drove dad's RC car like you've been doing it for years yet it was just your first time (almost as good as daddy!), your ability to have such amazing hand and eye coordination playing the "big boy" games with daddy is amazing to watch, you seriously are a pro! When your doing your school work on line and its asking you to choose a word that means what it is saying, and your laying around not really paying attention talking to me and I'm saying for you to listen to what the computer is asking you to do and you say "i know what it said" and you get the answer right...its amazing to me, you can do so many things at once!!

You are such a great big and little brother...you love kaylin and cant wait for him to get home from school each day so you can hang out with him!
Khailo adores you...you are always playing with him and loving on him and even bossing him around!

You LOVE to ride motorcycles still...its your passion and its fun to watch and see how excited you get when ever you see a motorcycle...You also ride like you have been doing it for years...you pick up on things so so fast!!

We are so proud of you and love you to death...my heart swells when I hear you laugh, see you smile, and when you get all snugly with me...I love our cuddle time and will miss it when its not "cool" anymore!!

You will be amazing through out your life...you set out to do something and you always knock it out 150%...Keep working hard towards your goals and dreams in life and never give up!

Dad and I love you to the moon and back, forever and ever!!

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY buddy boy!!!

Your birthday party was simple and fun. This year all you wanted was some friends, pizza and ice cream! you are not too big on cake so you wanted your candles in the tub of ice cream!!
Your close buddies came over: Colin Kritzer and logan robinson, cute little aurora and cousin daydon.
Rocket our elf set up a cute table for you to see first thing in the morning with a all your favorite breakfast food and a little gift...he is such a fun elf!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
