"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

A Mans Diaper Change.....

Well here is the story behind the backwards diaper....when my family was down nick and i went with them to a show and had nicks brother landon watch kaylin for a few hours. I said to nick before landon got to our house "he's going to have to change kaylin you know" nick says "i don't think he has ever even changed a diaper before" and i said well he cant sit in a messy diaper for 4 hours...well so when landon got to our house i brought the diaper out to the front room and told him how to put the diaper on and he said "ok" so we left....got home and kaylin was on the couch asleep and nick carried him to our room and put him on the bed and just our little lamp was on so it was pretty dark, well we were just sitting on the bed and kaylin rolled over and nick said "what the" and i looked over and this is was we saw...........kaylin in his backwards diaper, we were laughing so hard and couldn't stop and i said don't move him i have to get a pictures of this!!!!!
so here it is for all to enjoy, and maybe you will remember it when you moms tell a man how to change a diaper.......SHOW don't TELL!

Another Day On The Lake...

Saturday we went back out to the lake, Nick and I took Rayni and Shane and Brayden out on the boat...we had so much fun, this time was better for me cause i was not so freaked out about kaylin falling overboard or something like that, i was much more relaxed and had lot more fun, i even got to drive the boat all around the lake cause nick and shane wanted to go doubles on the knee boards so i was the only one that could drive it...and i did really good i would have to say! I tried to knee board but i sucked bad so i mostly just layed on the board and got drug all around the lake that way in stead, next time i will try again now that i figured out how to get up, but i can totally wake board pretty good. We had a great day, cant wait to get out there this weekend again!!

For his birthday he got a boat and we are so excited to go and take it out and have another thing we can do together as a family...so i just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LOVE!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
