"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

WHAT WAS I THINKING.........

My brothers convinced me to go with them and go repelling so i did so i could go with just then and hang out for a bit....well when they told me it was about a 170+ feet down to the bottom i don't think i really realized how far that was. When we hiked to the cliff i went to the edge and looked down HOLY **** that's a LONG way down...i said never mind i think i will pass...my bro shane said no your not just do it its not that bad! Well i got hooked up and to the edge i went, chad picked this really little tiny kind of hole to go over to get to the cliff face and that was really hard to get over and that was the scary part, so i was trying to figure out an easy way to get over the edge but there wasn't one so i just sucked it up and went over, then it wasn't too bad walking and jumping down the face of the cliff but when i looked down that was a bit scary again. I had a lot of fun and im so glad i took the chance and did it...it was fun and quit the experience!!!

Me before I went over the cliff...

Me, Chad, Shane...my bro's

Yes this is me hanging from the 170 foot cliff...

Still hanging there...it still makes my heart pound every time i look at this.

My BiRtHdAy weekend....

I actually did have a great Birthday, i was so much fun and sooo relaxing. I got to spend two whole days with my hubby and we did quit a few things. saturday night we went out to dinner at our favorite place "texas road house" and had the best steaks, then we went to "Greeen Gate Village Inn, Bed and Breakfast" it was such a neat place and really nice to get away from our house for the night to and be alone. (thanks to nicks parents for taking kaylin saturday night and all day sunday). Sunday (i know we sined a little but we had no choice) we got breakfast at the Inn which was yummy, we went bowling, went and checked out our suv we want, went to the movie mall cop and then back to my inlaws house for some yummy RED VELVET CAKE!!!! its my favorite cake and man was it good, my mother in law and kaylin made it for me while we were gone, and thanks to kaylin he made me one year older then i was, he put 25 candles on the cake and was not about to let anyone take one off either it was really cute! even though i dont want to get older i had a great weekend! here are lots of pictures from my day!

Here are some pictures of the little cottage we stayed in, it was such a cute little house, its call the Christmas Cottage..here is a little bit of history of the Christmas Cottage: it is an original pioneer house, the label "Christmas Cottage" stuck after Mike Andeline sold christmas decorations from October to February out of it, it was built in 1864. it was originally located behind Andeline's Gable House Restaurant on St. George Blvd. and 200 East but it was taken apart brick by brick and rebuilt at the Green Gate Village.

Camping weekend....

We went up to sandcove to camp out for the night last friday it was a long awaited camping trip...we were going to go fishing and fourwheeling and hiking on saturday but when we woke up that morning nick looked out the window and looked over at me and said "it snowed" i said what...i looked out the window and yup it sure did snow..so it was freezing and windy. we tried to fish for a little while but our hands were frozen so we decied to just head home...all'n all we had fun even though we didnt get to do all that we had planned, but it was soooo nice to just get out for a night! kaylin sure did have fun though the cold didnt even bother him!

ThE BiG 24....am i glad?

that is my question...and i say no way cause i really don't want to get old..and im on my way..fast too. it seems just like last year that i was turning 16 then 18 and now 24 gosh where did all the years go? i use to be so excited about my birthday and now i know what all the other people are talking about...it just speeds up each year and before you know it your old. i wanna be little again with no responsibility's 8) man did i ever take that for granted. But i love my life and i love nick and kaylin they are the very very best things in my life so i guess in order to get all the greatness out of life you have to get old!!! I'm going to just say iam going to make my year of 24 be the best year yet! Well im off to enjoy my last two days of being 23 something i will never ever see again!!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
