"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

Happy Fathers Day...

This year the boys wanted "make" daddy something they said, so I asked them what they wanted to make him and we searched good old pinterest!
We found the cutest little "Best dad in the world book" to make. Each of them had their own section to dad from them. They drew a picture of them with daddy and then answered some questions about him...they turned out ADORABLE. we also make daddy a little jar of hugs and kisses with a part of the song from church about daddy and when he comes home (i think is "im so glad when daddy comes home").

I made all the "DAD'S" dinner that night...we had yummy chicken and steak cabob's, corn on the cob, a soup with cheese bread, and potatoes and then i made a yummy yummy chocolate coca cola cake from scratch...that cake will be the death of my weight loss i will tell you what...i CAN NOT keep my hands off it!

A Surprise Visitor...

Before I forget to post this, My sweet BIGGEST SIS come in for a surprise visit, I hadnt seen her in about 4 years...she showed up at my house with my mom and totally surprised me!
She only was staying long enough to say hi...seriously all the way from texas just to stay for a few hours???? NOT A CHANCE...so nick and I bought her another plan ticket so she could stay longer and visit me and the boys. She stayed an extra 4 days and WE LOVED IT.

I love and miss her so much...wish we could visit more often twice a year would be super!!
thanks for the surprise it was much needed!!!!

Brotherly LOVE....

These boys love each other so much....Both kaylin and kiptin are ALWAYS wanting to hold their little little brother...makes my heart swell!!!

Fun in St. George....

Nick is working in St. George right now building a Children's Museum down by main street water park so we have been going down with him while he works we play at the water park with friends. Here are some fun pictures from our play dates:

More water park fun: (the week later)

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
