"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

some oLd pictures....

so i came across some old pictures that i LOVE...they are of Nick and I when we lived in Hawaii, and when my good old friend Jenna came to visit us and help us move back here...we had so much fun there and it was amazing..every day we got to go to the beach and play, skim board, buggie board and watch the most amazing sunsets i have ever seen in my life...i miss the warm Hawaiian sun that gave me a nice Hawaiian tan unlike now were i mostly get burned if i go in the sun....i wanted to make sure some of these pictures are in my blog journal cause they are a big part of my life! some time i will post more and share some good story's about our Temple mission in Hawaii!
The pictures of us all dressed up are from SR. Ball in high school and was the most fun dance i ever went too...we rented a viper and a Corvette for our friends and went out on the town...people all over town thought we just got married and were saying congrats everywhere we went, even a cop the pulled us over for doing burn outs said "oh is it your wedding day" we just laughed and said no, it was funny cause he said he just pulled us over so he could check out the car.
the last picture is one of me just goofing off in high school with some friends and it make me laugh every time i see it so i had to share it!

Happy 3rd Birthday BIG BOY....

Wow...were did the time go? How can my little tiny baby be 3 already? He had a great birthday..It started off with yummy Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast and he smothered them in some jam my great neighbor made which he loves and then this year he wanted to have a water party with his friends, we had his cute friends and cousins over and they played in the pool and on the slip'n slide, BBQed hot dogs and hit the pinata..opened presents and ate yummy Thomas the train cake!!!
Happy Birthday my big boy! we love you!

4th of july....

Here are a few pictures from our 4th of July day....we went to parawon to spend the day and get out of the heat and crowds of people...we watched the parade, flew kits, took kaylin to the little park activities and he slid down the big slide over and over, he went on a four wheeler ride with his daddy, played with cousins and at the end of the night watched fireworks right from nicks grandparents porch...it was so great not to fight the crowds of people to get home this year...we just watched them did some of our own and went to bed! the next day we went to Yankee canyon and eat lunch, and kaylin layed with his papa (grandpa, he calls him papa) and i got a really cute shot of them lying there together in the tall grass, then he played in the little stream with his daddy! we had a great relaxing time and i think i may just go there every year from now on!

It's a BOY!.....

So it looks like kaylin is going to have a little buddy! he is way excited, and always says "when my bruder goin come out" its so cute. I guess our predictor kit was right...its a boy, and so was i, i always have thought it was a boy even though part of me wanted a girl so i could probably be done but now nicks says we have to try again for a girl so we will see, hopefully it wont take as long the next go around.
Here are some cute pictures of our little one, he would never show us his face, he had his hand across it everytime and his cord was like a halo around his eyes, but there are some cute body shots and one i love of his cute little feet crossed, and his little hand waving!! i will post some more later!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
