Our Family: Happy Fathers Day...

"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. Happy Fathers Day...

This year the boys wanted "make" daddy something they said, so I asked them what they wanted to make him and we searched good old pinterest!
We found the cutest little "Best dad in the world book" to make. Each of them had their own section to dad from them. They drew a picture of them with daddy and then answered some questions about him...they turned out ADORABLE. we also make daddy a little jar of hugs and kisses with a part of the song from church about daddy and when he comes home (i think is "im so glad when daddy comes home").

I made all the "DAD'S" dinner that night...we had yummy chicken and steak cabob's, corn on the cob, a soup with cheese bread, and potatoes and then i made a yummy yummy chocolate coca cola cake from scratch...that cake will be the death of my weight loss i will tell you what...i CAN NOT keep my hands off it!

"kaylin you need to sleep in your own big boy bed"

"but that is my 3 year old bed and I'm 4 so now I can sleep in this bed with you. its a 4 year old bed"

set up: kiptin pulled the filter off the vacume and I couldn't figure out how to put it back on.

"oh mom why did you take this off, let me fix it"

"no kaylin leave it alone, let daddy fix it"

"I can do it...see mom, fixed"

(a very stupid mom moment for sure...its sad when your 4yr old is smarter then you)
