"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

Kiptin 18 months....

18 short months have come and gone so fast. Kiptin, where oh where do i start??? there is so much about him, he is just like his big brother kaylin and yet so very very different. He has a mind of his own and when he wants something...he gets it, one way or another good or bad :)
Kiptin has a smile that makes you have to smile no matter what you are feeling, its that good! He is so silly almost all day he is trying to do things to make someone laugh, and it works, he keeps us laughing! He loves playing games like peek-a-boo, hide and seek, chase him around the house, and "where's kiptin" he hides behind his hands and thinks we cant see him until he moves them! His vocabulary had exploded this past month here are some things he can say:
mommy
mom
mama
dada
baba
puppy (just a couple days ago he started saying it since we have new puppies in our house)

keke (kaylin)
out
on
off
up
down
juice
owee
jaida
sam
grandma
water
shoes

there are some of the things he can say (im sure im missing a lot). He understand almost every single thing we say to him, if we tell him to go some where or put something away or sit down or what ever it is he just goes and does it, if he doesnt know what we are saying he will walk around the house over and over again trying to figure out what we said, then he will come to us in a shy way with his hands rubbing together and babble something to us!
He waves bye bye, learning to blow kisses, and he knows where his nose, ears, eyes are almost his mouth but forgets sometimes or doesnt understand what im saying. He gives high fives, I tell him to go get his shoes and he will go find a pair of his shoes and bring to me or try to put them on him self.
He try's doing everything that kaylin does, he loves kaylin and gets so excited when he sees him, kaylin goes into his room every morning and kiptin just jumps up and down! He LOVES to ride with his daddy or mommy on the motorcycle or four wheeler, and will go for hours and hours, he even fell asleep riding and still holding on tight!
He loves air planes and points to the sky every time he hears or sees one, he loves cars and trucks too. A funny thing he does is when i ask him for a kiss he walks over to me and puts his face down so i have to kiss the top of his head!
Here are some of the nick names we have for him:
kippers
kipper snack
kipin (thats what kaylin calls him)
kippy

We just love him so much he is a fun little kid and is growing up way to fast. I miss the little baby stage but LOVE his little boy stage at the same time!
We love you forever little kippers!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
