"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

A little of our Christmas....

This year was quiet and nice...i loved not having to wake up and rush to every ones houses, i enjoyed just waking up and relaxing and watching kaylin enjoy opening his presents, and holding my new baby boy!
Kaylin LOVES anything and everything Mario right now, so of course Santa had to get him Mario stuff...he got pj's that are Mario kart racing ones (lucky find) a little Mario RC car...and his most favorite Mario game for his Wii...we made him open that one last and he was so excited he said "Santa really got me this, he didn't forget, i was a really good boy so he brought me the Mario game" is was really cute...he has been wanting this game for so long he See's it on TV and in books and always said "mom will Santa bring me that game" so that was a must for Christmas...he got so spoiled of course and he now has NO room in his room for anything.
Nick and i had a good Christmas too, we didn't get much for each other instead we got ourselves a new car since our truck just wasn't cutting it anymore and with two kids we decided to go with a more family friendly SUV but one that could still pull our trailers so we got a Durango and I LOVE IT, nick got a lap top so he could game with his brother...(lucky me) and some games of course. I got just what i wanted...new car, camera, and finally a new stone put in my wedding ring since i lost mine back in like October..now that I'm not pregnant anymore maybe i wont get those looks from people you know the ones like "she's so young and knocked up and not married" looks...well i got those all the time i felt like and not having a ring on my finger made me feel more like that so I'm sooo happy to have it back on my finger now. and the present i wanted the VERY MOST....MY LITTLE BOY!!!
here are just a few pictures of Christmas i will post some more later!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
