"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

6 Years Of Blissful Marriage....

In honor of our 6th Anniversary August 8th, i thought i would post the pictures of our Engagement!Nick took me to Sea World and said i was getting to go swim with my most favorite fishy..the dolphins! i was so excited cause that had always been a dream of mine to do, so him and i got to go in and swim and play with them for like 30 min, then the lady said to me "do you want to throw the bottle to misty and see what snack she gets for being so good" and of course i said "sure" ( i should have noticed something was going on cause all the other kids that were in the water with the other Dolphin got out of the water..duh me, but i was living in the moment with the beautiful dolphin) so she gave me this big bottle with a paper rolled up inside, i threw it and misty (our dolphin) when and got it and pushed it back to me with her nose (soooo cute)the lady said open it and pull out the paper and see what is Say's....when i pulled it out it was upside down and nick was getting down on his knee, i turned it over and read it "Will You Marry Me" and was in a little bit of shock.. and started crying and nick was holding the ring and i said YES..(although he said he didn't hear me say anything) hugged and kissed LOTS..then both Dolphins in the water started to splash us with their fins and all the people around the pool were clapping and screaming and making lots of noise, i was a little embarrassed that i was the ONLY ONE that didn't know what was about to happen but I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT!!! my brother got it all on film so that was really neat to be able to have that to watch when ever i want!
Thank you honey for the best engagement ever...and for the best 6 years of marriage and many more to come! I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH!

The night before he asked me...our last picture of being boyfriend/girlfriend!!
this was at the beach something else i had never been too before! This is one of my most favorite pictures of us well actually i just love nick in it!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
