"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

Our EaStEr Weekend.....

Kaylin was going going going ALL weekend, he fell asleep in the truck on our drive home and i got this adorable picture of him!!! i love it!!

Kaylin started off the weekend by going poo poo in the big boy potty all by himself so nick gave him and early Easter bunny present...a new soccer ball!

I dont know how i got talked into having more pets but i did....we are now owners of not just 1 or 2 BUT 3 tiger salamanders....nick brought them home and of course thinks they are awesome so he had to keep them...we have to buy them or find them worms and what not to eat and man it is gross to see them eat!.....i take that back we are now owners of 5 salamanders..yuck, nick just fed them and seriously its kinda disturbing to see them snatch a worm up and swallow it whole.....lucky me!

here is daddy and kaylin after our ward Easter egg hunt on Friday!

The Easter bunny brought kaylin a Thomas the train basket and paint book and water balloons and more chocolate of course.

kaylin opening his goodies on Easter morning, it was fun this year cause he actually understood what was going on!

After kaylin was done with decorating his hard boiled eggs he was getting off his chair and "WHAM" right into the corner of the cabinet...here is his own egg right on his head!

here is some of our Easter eggs we decorated!

here is kaylin dying one of his eggs!

Nick and Kaylin throwing hard boiled Easter eggs at each other....every year with nicks family we all decorate our eggs and then we go by the base ball fields and roll them down the hill the see who's last the longest...and every year it end with a egg fight mostly among the boys!

Here we are on Easter, not a good picture but its all me managed to get!!
we had a pretty good year for the most part but i hope next year will be even better!
HAPPY EASTER!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
