"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Camping in YANKEE...

Over labor day weekend Nick, me, kaylin, jim, jill, shane, brayden, went to Yankee mountain to camp and i was so happy, Yankee is my FAVORITE place to camp, it is so peaceful and quite there and NOT HOT! Well as you will see from the pictures i posted we had a blast.........

Grandpa Haslem let kaylin shoot his first gun...(we can always leave it to Gpaw haslem to let them do all the dangerous stuff)

Me and Kaylin out fishing on the boat....

kaylin and daddy fishing together....

Ok so funny story....this is the picture i got of kaylin with his very own fishing pole we bought him to go fishing with us so he would have one too...well i told him that we had to get out on the water first before he could fish, i said "Kaylin we have to get out in the middle of the lake before you can through you fishing pole in the lake and fish" well we got out there and we were getting the poles ready and nick had got kaylins ready and put his little practice fish on it and next thing we know brayden says...."hey look what kaylin just did", we look over the boat and kaylin had thrown his WHOLE POLE IN THE LAKE....well that's what i get for telling him to wait till we get out in the middle of the lake to through the pole in the water, next time i will phrase it a little different!

Kaylin & Daddy at the car show in parowan....

kaylin thought it was so cool when daddy found him a BIG rock to through...you should have herd him and seen his face it was priceless....

So there is our little camping trip....nick, kaylin and i just got back from camping again today from Yankee, we just went for a little over night trip together...but of course i didn't take any pictures......stupid me!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
