"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome; some are not. There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure. But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes. This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now. Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows. " Thomas S. Monson

The magic Christmas press

This year when our Elf returned he brought us the coolest kit for the boys to write their wish list on.

after you write your wish list you add the regular sized paper to Mrs. Clause's magic press paper and put it in the oven.  then the paper will shink down to tiny size for our elf could carry them back to the north pole for Santa.

the boys faces LITE up when the papers started to shrink!

and now we have little keep sake ornaments to remember this magic moment by!

karbon, you sweet boy!

after Halloween this year, I started pulling up boxes of our Christmas stuff to start decorating the house. Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday and the only one that I really have cute decorations for.

so one school morning the boys where headed out the door for school and karbon was just so excited to help me decorate ... as he was walking out the door with his puffy coat and backpack he looked back and said ...
"DON'T DO CHRISTMAS WITHOUT ME MOM"

my heart smiled so big... wow what a cute little guy! he melted my mommy heart yet again!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL..2020-2021

today ALL the boys started back at their new school years!

yes, karbon my tiny little human also started ALL day school😭

It was a very strange feeling with all four gone all day.
It's also strange so so very strange and wrong seeing all these little tiny kids (and big kids) having to wear masks 😷 ... i hate the way of our horrible world right now and hate that my precious babies have to live in it like this.

Kaylin 9th grade... first year of HIGH SCHOOL!!!!
Kiptin 5th grade
Khailo 2nd grade
Karbon, Kindergarten (all day)
these little humans of ours means more then life it self to us and we missed them. I love my boys so much and I hope and dream all the amazing things in life for them... i know with hard work and dedication they will do such great things in life... and for them to learn how... i have to let them go learn!

17 years today!

its been 17 years of marriage for me and nick today!  its so crazy that next year will be the 18th anniversary which is the age I was when we married!!!!

I love my life... most days lol.  marriage is definitely a battle each day to make an effort to keep your marriage strong!
its work. everyday. its an uphill stroll... its also a downward dive of emotions.... and each year we learn more and more about each other, each year I feel like we have become more in love... we find our way back to lo e no matter what.
marriage is work. hard work. but also easy to love the man of my dreams. easy to look at him and know HE. IS. MY. PERSON.
the battles are hard. but the love is so sweet and amazing!

17 years with my high school sweet heart. 17 years with the man who falls in love with me over and over even though I'm a brat.
17 years, 4 kids, 3 houses, 2 states, many cars, many animals, lots of ups and downs.... but still only ONE love!

happy 17th Anniversary babe.... i love you with all my heart!

happy happy 36 to you hubs!

today my love turns 36!!!
its strange to think I've seen the candles on his cake change from 16 to 26 and now 36!

we sure love this guy, he's such an amazing daddy and hubby... he loves and care for us with his whole heart!

good advice!

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal! Under the arm to be protected, & next to the heart to be loved.
